Each stage of the structural design, whether it is in steel, aluminium or composites, is handled by the team at Gaastmeer. Our activities cover the full scope, from general construction plan and hull strength calculations to detail engineering, such as crane- and engine foundations.

Each structure is designed in accordance with applicable rules and laws - such as Lloyd's, Verticas, GL and IVW. As a final phase, we can also work out the structure in detailed sets of building information for the yard to start building with. For aluminium and steel structures this will include cutting files with shaping information and workshop drawings.
