Gaastmeer Design bv is a design and concultancy company in naval archi- tecture. We develop our own designs as well as supply services for other parties as a subcontractor. We have extensive experience designing yachts of various types. On this website we present a representative selection of completed projects and an impression of our scope of service.

Our designs range from traditional Dutch round-bottomed yachts to ocean cruisers and from comfortable luxury motor yachts to high-speed tenders. Together with you, the client, we will go through the design process to realize a dream yacht. We offer services in each phase of the design process. In the start-up phase all criteria and requirements for the design are combined into the conceptual design.

In this stage of the project the styling of the overall design will be deter- mined. Next, a technically feasible and conceptually coherent whole is forged by developing the general drawings, calculations and the building specification. The final phase consists of detailing all drawings, producing the building kit and co-ordinating the approbation process.
